Jenae
Co-founder, Photographer & Editor
Jenae is the inspiration and expert behind the lens. She puts the blonde in Blonde Freelance. With over 10 years of industry experience working out of photography studio since she was 15 years old she has now also attained a degree in film, screen and new media. Her passion lies in capturing the special moments that people can cherish for a lifetime. Jenae brings warmth, authenticity and a bubbly personality to every session, ensuring clients feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
Being the foodie she is, when jenae isn’t shooting client sessions you’ll find her behind the lens of her phone camera capturing food content at new restaurants and cafes she is trying out. Jenae wanted to make affordable, high quality photography sessions more accessible and after sitting and discussing her vision with her bestfriend Blonde Freelance was born.
Madi
Co-founder & Chief of Business Operations
Madi has over 8 years of business & marketing experience, launching her own successful business in 2016. After many discussions with Jenae and seeing how creative and passionate for photography she was, Madi knew that Blonde Freelance needed to come to life and that her skillset in business creation, marketing and advertising could be put to use in doing just that. After taking time off and welcoming her first baby in 2024 , Madi saw first hand the importance of capturing these fleeting moments and was even more driven to co-create Blonde Freelance.
When Madi isn’t creating content, answering emails and organising shoots you will find her cleaning up after her baby or 3 very chaotic dachshunds. From time to time Madi will also attend sessions helping capture BTS content and being the ultimate hype girl.
Jenae and Madi are partners in crime and with their individual skill set in their respective areas you know that you’re getting everything that we have to offer when booking your session.
